Socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released a “hit list” of potential investigations she plans to pursue should Democrats retake control of Congress this fall, including Trump’s hurricane response and his Supreme Court-supported “travel ban.”
Cortez published her list of “GOP crimes” on social media this week, telling supporters to “get ready to investigate” a series of Republican policies and presidential decisions.
“Get ready to investigate the GOP’s: Federal response to Puerto Rico, Human rights violations under ICE, Environmental Protection Agency firings, Travel Ban & Family Separation, Election security & lack thereof, Corruption, corruption, corruption,” she tweeted.
The self-described Democratic Socialist came under fire in recent weeks after she banned the media from attending two town hall events; claiming the speaking engagements were “sanctuary spaces” for her potential constituents.
