House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff formally invited Robert Mueller to testify before his committee Thursday; saying the American people “deserve the facts” after the special counsel’s two-year investigation into Russia collusion.
“The House Intelligence Committee has formally invited Special Counsel Mueller to testify on the counterintelligence investigation,” posted Schiff on social media. “After a two year investigation, the public deserves the facts, not Attorney General Barr’s political spin.”

The letter states the Democrat chairman hopes to speak with Mueller “at the earliest opportunity” and hopes to secure a “mutually agreeable date in May.”
