When I think of weaponized I think of spying on Biden and his campaign workers based on some dossier prepared by the RNC, and setting up an investigation based on hunches to continue in his administration after the election if he wins.

The local officials had processes in place which caught these incidents and were.on their way to correcting them when the DOJ broke decades of precedent and made specific comments about an open investigation for the express purpose of feeding a talking point to the person who is their effective boss.

But of course since you support your boss, you overlook this totally improper politicking on the part of the DOJ.

Reminds me of those who defended Nixon siccing the FBI and IRS on those who were exposing Watergate.

PS Luzerne County election officials, which are a GOP majority BTW, are completely pissed at this blatant abuse by the DOJ.

It is completely improper for the DOJ to comment on incomplete investigations. Even more improper to coordinate with Trump’s press secretary to tease it with details as to who the ballots were for.

But those in the tank for Trump, of course think this is completely proper.

Laughing at libs here complaining about what they’re been doing for decades.

Trump supporters have a right to know that certain groups are targeting them for voters fraud.

To my conservative friends. On every ballot there is a ballot number…a tracking number. Fallow up on it. Don’t take non answer. Make sure your ballot is counted. Libs will try to pull anything and everything to cheat this election.

Call it in after couple days…and continue calling, tracking it as it goes through the system.

There was NO voter fraud at all, just administrative error. Not only did the DOJ violate policy, they also got the facts wrong & had to delete the release.
So yeah, the DOJ is definitely being weaponizied.

Continuing to ignore the main point.

The investigation was not wrong.

The DOJ publicly disclosing details about it before it was complete (and, apparently, getting some of the facts wrong), was completely improper and obviously done for political purposes, as the DOJ’s press release was coordinated with the West Wing, so McEnany could tease it and Trump could mention it on Fox News.

But this improper behavior is “just fine”, I suppose.
