The British Empire and later the US fought wars against the native Americans for almost 300 years after the King of England issues land grants for land he did not own. The same sort of thing happened in 1917 with Balfour Declaration for land that was then part of the Ottoman Empire.

In North America, the native population was already reduced to about 10% of what it was before Columbus as a result of European diseases, and European settlers quickly had a big advantage in terms of population. Israelis do not have that advantage.

The rules of war have greatly changed as well. “The only good Indian is dead Indian” is no longer and acceptable rule for engagement no matter how much Israel wants to turn back the clock.

This implies that any generation of Palestinians ever had interest in peace, going all the way back to 1948. This is demonstrably false.

The Palestinians could have ended this months ago, and choose not to. Unfortunately for civilization as a whole, sacrificing their own people has worked miracles on progressives across the globe, as they’re now siding with a jihadist theocracy over a functioning liberal democracy.

War is a bad thing. People should try to avoid it instead of starting them. Like the Palestinians did on October 7th.

Great. But we are not talking about the British/Colonist wars against the Indians hundreds of years ago, we are taking about the war Gazans have waged against Israel for the last 76 years.

I just had to bump this because this is just funny.

On this one, Yeah! Nikki!

Yes, that is the problem. Settlers exterminating and expelling the indigenous population is no longer acceptable behavior.

If only Israel could go back to the days of the Sherman and Custer, everything would be so much easier. Of course, that would mean revoking the 1948 Genocide Convention:

Israelis predates the Arabs as the indigenous population by more than 1500 years.

The latest PSR poll in Palestine showed:

71% of people think the decision for Hamas to launch the Oct 7 attacks was a good one.

95% of respondents do not believe Hamas committed war crimes during these attacks

64% of people believe Hamas will defeat Israel in the current war, and 59% would like to see Hamas rule all of the Palestinian Territories.

73% are against the “day after” vision being floated by the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan to have an Arab-led peacekeeping force help rebuild Gaza and strengthen the PA while a plan was put in action to create a 2-state solution and a lasting regional peace.

Nor are they, nor have they, committed mass murder either.

Yet again proves Palestine plays dirty pool and wants you to feel sorry when it backfires.

At the time of the Balfour Declaration 5% of Palestine was Jewish. Many of the Jews in the Ottoman Empire were descendants of Jews who were expelled from Spain in the 1500s.

The conflict started when large numbers of settlers arrived from Europe under the British mandate.

What happen to that pier?

Today’s progressive logic would have sided with Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany once those factions were clearly losing, and Palestinian culture is demonstrably worse than both. Make it make sense.

not true, but irrelevant regardless.

On the indigenous list you can start with Canaanites except of course there are no more Canaanites, and none of them if they do exist are claiming anything.

Next would be Israelites, we do know where they are so no problem

Next will be Philistines (not to be confused with Palestinians, who are Arab), who also aren’t making any claims because they mostly settled in Lebanon.

Then we have a portion of Israelites, mainly the tribe of Judah, no problem there. Their claim goes back to the original one right after Canaanites.

Last on the list, and definitely NOT indigenous, would be Arabs, specifically Palestinian Arabs.

Joe I-am-a-Zionist Biden is not a progressive?

Not on this issue. If he was, he’d have joined the LGBTQ+ protesters that converted to Islam on college campuses.
