Is Trumpism killing America?

Have not read much of this thread. I wonder then if anyone mentioned the idea that Trumpism will continue beyond Trump? That will be the long lasting damage, that certain backwards ideas should be mainstream. Wanting an all-white America again when it is never going to happen, so give that one up Trumpsters. The Wall is never going to happen, unless we all pay for it (I don’t want to, but my tax dollars are likely used for alot of stuff I don’t like). And then it might not happen.

Trumpism is a cult. There really is no other way to be more blunt about it. And as a cult, let’s hope we can put all of its believers on the same level as Scientologists one day. I guess entertainment had a cult, rural America needed one too.

IMO, Trump was elected because the left was taking what mainstream Americans believe in… in the wrong direction. American’s are sick and tired of scraping to make ends meet and paying taxes to support the newest, latest and greatest liberal cause.

There is only so much people will put up with before they put an end to it.

Many on the left are middle class and poor. So are many on the right.

That’s a pretty big cult they have there, sitting at around 87+% republican approval. I think it’s easier to see it for what it is without the skin pigmentation game. It’s nationalism vs globalism, don’t be surprised if the democrats vote in a leftist nationalist populist like Sanders. I have np labeling Sanders a nationalist as he speaks of bad trade deals in the same was as Trump has and how the TPP would destroy the country, he was also heavy against Nafta. Then to think he garnered nearly half of the vote in the democrat primaries.

In the past the U.S. was ahead of Europe but they beat us to it on this one with Brexit and other populists movements winning in Italy and elsewhere. Italy a few months ago voted in both left and right populist-nationalists, running the establishment politicians into the ground. Brazil is getting ready to put one in. This so-called cult is just starting, and its a push back against globalism and to a part migration. This should be to no ones surprise and should have came earlier before the west completely outsourced their industry to third world and making China the second biggest economy and military at a rapid pace.

This election had nothing to do with race. What we did see was two major parties fighting for survivability against the independent voter. Look at who was doing well and giving the status elites a run for their money. Clinton should have polled higher than she did against Sanders. It took the super delegates to put any kind of point spread between Clinton and Sanders.
Obama was a lousy president, it had nothing to do with skin color.
