Irrelevant as long as it is applied equally.

Totally relevant if the banned names were chosen because of their demographic breakdown.

Looking at the list of prohibited items and doing a little research on “butters”, it looks to me like the Irish pub is trying to keep out the hiphop culture.
Now if it isn’t being applied equally, that’s a problem.
It’s not crap, and yes white people are allowed in wearing those items. The black folks in line have pointed them out while being denied entrance for wearing the same items.
There is a gang problem in Rochester.

That explains the bandanas.
Then that is the problem. They have to apply it equally, they do not have to change the code.
I’ve never seen that in Texas.

They don’t apply it equally. They aren’t interested in equality. Hence why I moved to park avenue with the less racist bouncers.
It’s more common than you think, which is what Tommy was alluding to earlier.

Not here.
This is, both ways. People have a way of letting you know you aren’t in the right place.
Oh I can keep up, Just debating on whether it’s worth my time to take a ride to nowhere.
On second thought I think I’ll drive, that way I can see all the sights, rather then just the sights you plant along the train tracks.
I dunno. That’s like asking why white people go out of their way to avoid eye contact with black people in public spaces. That’s just how it is.
When I was a kid there was a big thing with wearing steel toed boots because you can really kick the ■■■■ out of someone with them but Timbs are for styling.

With the caveat that Philly is the only city I’ve ever been in where I felt genuinely in danger in the hood for no good reason, people always say that about black bars but I like to hit genuine steel door and glass block window trap bars every once in awhile because they remind me of where I grew up and no one ever says anything to me, no matter how upscale I’m dressed.

The fact is that people of all colors are denied service for one reason or another.
Instead of crying and playing victim people of all colors should just man up and go some where else.
Pretty much my experience as well. The only places that didn’t want me in there were townie bars.
When you only care because of the color of the man skin it tells us a lot.

Kind of broad bushing white people are you?
I have never avoided eye contact with anyone.
Maybe the problem is all the racism in the big cities.
Rural people don’t seem to have a problem with people of all colors.
