Such an amazing book. Helps to put a lot of things going on in that era in perspective. Frannie Wright was pretty wild… but that whole plantation thing she did is just the epitome of white savior complex going all wrong.

Haven’t read anything like that recently.

Read “Cry Havok” by the former mayor of Charlottesville… the book may as well have been titled “ Why it wasn’t my fault”.

Reading a Kim Stanley Robinson book right now “Red Moon” about China having a moon base 30 years from now. Pretty fun so far. A lot of corporate espionage stuff.
