I understand.

Yep, quite a few years working private security in high risk areas, including urban.

Is the Magnificent Mile in Chicago a poor neighborhood?

Property crime.

Not sure what Trump means by suburban? For many people it means married couples and families in single family homes. It means less people, quiet neighborhoods, more trees, more open space. The fact is that inner cities are indeed more densely populated due to low income housing projects.

Increase in property taxes as well. Additional school costs and policing.

Most people in low income housing are white so how is this racial at all except for those constantly screaming racism whether it’s true or not?

Yet there’s not a single fact that actually supports your claims.

Yeah, you’re great at that. Criticizing America while your country is even worse. Typical.

By all means, tell them to stay home then and see how many votes Democrats actually get. While you’re at it, why don’t you tell the liars and hypocrits their votes are wanted either and make it 100% to 0% for Donald Trump.

Not a real good winning strategy there for you guys…

This has been happening a lot in NJ ever since Christie left and Murphy came in. The suburban towns in NJ have been fighting it but many are being forced to have the low income housing developments built in their town’s. I was at one meeting and ironically a Hispanic woman got up to speak and vehemently opposed to a development being built in her town that recently moved into. She talked about how she left the inner city along with all the social problems she endured and worked hard to get herself into a better position. She didn’t want that following her to her new life.

If the suburbs are gonna be like the cities, there’s no point in Mama Lena moving, is there?

Had to be Western Wisconsin, in Northeastern Wisconsin I think I’ve seen maybe two or three.
I see very few Biden signs in my circle of travel (Michigan’s Yoop and NE Wisconsin) even in liberal dominant Marquette.

Before that happens it’s who their parents are and how they are raised.

Kinda looks like Mr Stern does know Trump doesn’t he ?Trump isnt big fan of the average/ forgot man after all is he? Whole lot of NIMBY going on…

Exactly! Some seem to think we haven’t figured out the racism facade yet!

That’s a load of bull taller then Howard himself.

Canadian low income housing is actually really nice. Its not as good in the US.

Thank you Robert Moses and all that you did…

You’re making an awful lot of assumptions, Sneaky. Lots of poorer people work their asses off and lots of wealthier people haven’t done a hard days work their entire lives.

You can make up for a poor upbringing if you have the talent and drive, but it might help quite a bit if you lived in a stable neighborhood with good schools for your kids while you worked your way up the ladder.

And despite all that, even if you bust your backside, you may not ever make it. Maybe you have a disability, or are mentally ill. Maybe you were victimized by crime or abused.

Just because you are poor, that doesn’t mean you haven’t struggled.

Contractors don’t design what they build. And most new low income housing is actually quite nice.
