Maybe she shouldn’t have rolled the dice on a jury trial. It is a coin flip with a jury no matter what the charges are. You’d think a cop would be smart enough not to do that.

How is this any different than someone who gets ten years for a first offense for a couple grams of dope under the Rockefeller Laws? Or shoplifters who get life sentences in California under three strikes? No one gives a flying ■■■■■

She rolled the dice on a jury trial and lost. Tough luck. There’s a reason ninety nine percent of cases are pleaded out.
