How is this any different than someone who gets ten years for a first offense for a couple grams of dope under the Rockefeller Laws? Or shoplifters who get life sentences in California under three strikes? No one gives a flying ■■■■■
She rolled the dice on a jury trial and lost. Tough luck. There’s a reason ninety nine percent of cases are pleaded out.
