Is there any reason not to impeach this goon? Like now?

Apparently, this lunatic approved spying on Republicans for the crime of being Republicans. He’s gotta go. We need to purge the country of crooked judges ASAP. Other than liberals believing that their people are all perfect Saints and Angels incapable of malfeasance, is there any reason why this corrupt clown should be given another single day on the bench?

We need judges like that for judge-shopping.

They can judge shop at Walmart. Which is where he belongs.

Like judge perv in NY who thought he could just make up a number of half a billion to punish Trump for taking out and paying back a loan.

The problem is that the republicans are REALLY good at calling out democrat corruption. They go on Hannity and throw a fit about it. And maybe they launch some half-assed “investigation.” And that’s where it ends. It peters out and dies. Until the next one comes along. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Let’s see how they handle this. This kind of corruption is obviously impeachable. The republicans hold the house. Will they act? I know where my money is going.

Laura Ingraham had Florida congressman byron Donalds on her show last night….she asked if something would actually be done this time…he said one of his fellow congresspeople was drawing up articles of impeachment for that judge…I suppose we’ll have to wait until the shutdown is over for that to be presented.

Not to be the wet rag on this conversation, I genuinely don’t know how this works. Is this something that’s going to require 60 votes in the senate after it gets thru the house….cause there’s no way a bunch of democrats are going to vote to impeach their best buddy judge.

That all said yes some kind of message needs to be sent here.

I agree he should, in reasonable world, be impeached. Not happening in today’s world. Most Democrats in congress would probably think spying on Republican representatives is fine.

I read this and in my mind I can hear the voice of Lindsey Graham on Hannity or Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday show…

“I have sent a letter to _______________….to my Democrat colleagues we will get to the bottom of ___________”. And as he references the letter he sounds very serious and stern.

Obviously Graham’s not the only one but…

Nothing ever happens after the letter gets sent!

It’s one of my biggest complaints with my party. There’s nothing wrong with getting a little ■■■■■■ with the corrupt lying left every once in a while. They certainly don’t seem to have any problems with investigating/imprisoning/impeaching the folks on our side!

Oh Hell Yeah….

Republicans and the people they represent are just an obstacle to the birthright if democrats to rule.

(And I’m actually not being sarcastic in saying that!)

This judge has been one of their best allies.

I agree. Let’s start normalizing judicial impeachment now.

That would seem reasonable where a judge decides an entire political side should be spied upon because he feels without evidence they might destroy evidence. I assume you would agree since you keep talking about “rights” in another thread.

Absolutely! Let’s do it.

Glad you agree. Not going to happen. Democrats like some good spying on Republicans.

And vicey versy?

We will find out if and when a company right leaning judge orders wholesale spying on Democrat representatives.

Impeachment should be started in the house ASAP. This dude is a dirty as they come. But will it? Will republicans continue to play nice with people who hate them?

Exactly why Ted Cruz is so concerned:

"Even more alarmingly, Smith subpoenaed AT&T to tap the office line of Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas. AT&T declined to do so on the advice of counsel but could not disclose Smith’s astonishing request thanks to an order from radical D.C. Obama Judge James Boasberg. Boasberg preposterously asserted that disclosure could lead to evidence destruction and witness intimidation. As former top Senate attorney Michael Fragoso pointed out, Boasberg’s secret snooping likely violated a clear federal statute that requires disclosure to the Senate when spying on a senato
