Old news. Alabama passed that law last March (along with Ohio, Indiana and Georgia.)
With an effective date of January 1, 2023.

I have wondered the same thing. Had I been asked many years ago (when there were significantly fewer) to name the states that have Constitutional Carry, I would have guessed both of them.
Sweeping the nation at least among red states.
Blue states probably won’t go along with it for fear some criminals might get hurt by citizens defending themselves.
