No war the United States ever fought has ever had any impact on you at all.

It means exactly what I said.

It’s also harder to become a surgeon than marketing coordinator. Stating something is harder to do; doesn’t necessarily mean one must be discouraged. The receivers mindset will determine whether it’s a cause for motivation or discouragement.

Some kids I mentor are highly motivated to become NBA players. No matter how hard I tell them it is… they don’t care. Some want to code… coding isn’t hard. Some don’t know what they want to to.

Put the shovel away… it’s over.

My point was about comprehension. Your statement is grammatically incomprehensible.

How so?

I was super duper clear.

You’re just not that important. Hope you enjoyed the mall.

You’re kidding. It is flat out grammatically incorrect. It’s not even a complete sentence. It makes no sense as written.

I’m going to say yes, “white” privilege is a racial slur.

White privilege is code for socioeconomic privilege. Not all whites are privileged but the rich are and they want to throw smoke to confuse the issue.

Poor whites are sacrificed to ease their guilt but their kids are going to get into the college of their choice through legacies.

I don’t know if white privilege is a slur, but it is a lie. Or at best a half truth.

At this point in the way that it is used I would agree.

If white privilege is a lie or half truth, explain why white adults with a high school education,or less, earn more than black and hispanic adults with a college degree.

If I acknowledge I have benefited from white privilege, does that make me a racist., or a victim of racism?
Both?

Wealth or earnings? Because your post says earn and your chart says wealth.

That depends on whether or not you project that onto everyone else and claim that person over there only got to where they are because they are white.

Or neither. You can just be a white dude making his way in the world.

To me it makes you naive to believe you have benefitted from an imaginary providence that effects one particular racial group in it’s entirety. Similar to claiming “there but by the grace of God do I prosper.”

Although the use of the term “white” privilege as a racial slur, as well as a means of rationalizing, may have had effect on the fomenting of this naivete

A good trade pays more than a lot of lame fine arts degrees.
