…and what percent of the increase do you attribute to these massive protests across the US? These other countries haven’t had BLM riots of 10s of thousands for the last 2 months? Notice in our country, the age testing positive, has greatly reduced. Now consider why this is and this impact?

You don’t think racism exists outside of big cities?
Seriously?

Mine either.
That is why this BLM thing is such a joke.

Wait…you think the protests is what caused the spike in Covid Cases?
Look at the chart. EU knocked down the curve…our has skyrocketed.
Are there protests in Florida? Tennessee? New Mexico?
Talk about alternate realities!

The mayor of LA said it did. Florida yes. New Mexico yes. I don’t know about Tennessee.

I witnessed the racism of yesterday and I witness racism today. What I’m witnessing today, people are making a bigger deal out of what it actually is and IMO there are bigger fish to fry. Seriously.

Don’t forget that there’s also a wave…rippling across the US. Was NM infected previously? At the endo of March, there were less than 350 cases in the entire state. What I’m looking at is the increase and the correlation to protests. The media is in denial mode and attempting to spin that it’s not but reality is rising to the surface.
Officials in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Miami-Dade County, Fla., have acknowledged that anti-police protests and riots may have led to increased spread of the coronavirus, according to a Fox News report.
All three cities have experienced an uptick in coronavirus cases after weeks of protesting sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody. Many Democrats and public-health professionals alike had voiced support of the demonstrations, including Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti.

Your ancestors had a choice

So did yours.
My grandparents had a choice in 1919?

Of course they had a choice. All kinds of choices.
Your grandparents? In 1919?

If you give a simple definition it’s dismissed and/or denied, leading to the false premise diatribe on display here. If someone is comfortable dismissing a definition they’ll be comfortable dismissing analogies. Both allow a person to continue their preconception. This is the underlying theme for virtually all the threads on this board. This one is no different.
There’s another possible explanation.
I agree there is something, we can call it “privilege” if you like, but it is not white. It comes from being the majority. Somebody has to design the system. Who should do it?
Asians/Indians are more successful than whites.
immigrants tend to not take thing for granted.

Wikipedia has a list of Ethnic Slurs. “White Privilege” does not appear on that list. But, “White Trash” does appear and was used by black house slaves against white servants. Imagine that. You don’t hear us “Honkies” bitching about that, do ya?
