Nah, she is trying to change rules halfway though the game. That’s called cheating.

I suspect she’s a patriot, and will put country before party. I think that, if she is unfairly treated, like Bernie was last time, she won’t roll over and give Americans only a socialist Democrat option that would destroy the US if one of the present crazies, by some freak accident, won, and so she will run as an independent, even if it means splitting the Democrat vote.

To even the field after years of white, male, cisgender privilege.

Person of Not Enough Color?

Maybe.

How is asking for transparency, with the DNC forecasting which polls will be DNC approved, rather than after the fact declaring polls unapproved by the DNC to keep her below the qualifying levels, changing the rules.?

:popcorn::sunglasses:

Cutoffs always have whiners. The candidates scraping 2% are non-factors regardless.

The rules were set a long time ago. It’s so transparent I found it in seconds:

The following are certified: Associated Press, ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Des Moines Register, Fox News, Monmouth University, NBC News, New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), Quinnipiac University, University of New Hampshire, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, and Winthrop University. Any candidate’s four qualifying polls must be conducted by different organizations, or if by the same organization, must be in different geographical areas.

The list of qualified polls was announced in July. It’s not a secret list.

Candidates must receive 2% or more support in at least four national polls, or polls conducted in the early-voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and/or Nevada. Each poll submitted must be publicly released between June 28 and Aug. 28 and be must be sponsored by one or more of the following organizations approved by the DNC: The Associated Press, ABC News, CBS News, CNN, the Des Moines Register, Fox News, Monmouth University, NBC News, The New York Times, National Public Radio, Quinnipiac University, University of New Hampshire, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post, and Winthrop University.

Thanks. What did you type in for your search?

The award for “woman of not enough color” would go to Elizabeth Warren. She listed herself as “native American”, but later admitted she is not a “woman of color”.

Of course the DNC may want to avoid the questions of whether Gabbard meets the constitutional requirement of “natural born citizen” since she was born in American Samoa. Similar questions followed John Mccain, who was born in the Canal Zone.

I sincerely hope gabbard makes the cut.

dnc primary criteria polls

That took me to a FiveThirtyEight article which linked to the ABC article which had the list.

I was very pleased when she did that.

Me too but i doubt the LSM was. Kamala would be my least favorite on either side.

It’s a tie between her and Delaney for me.

I saw Tucker complaining about this a day or so ago, as if a base of him, Russian bots, and trolls here should be enough to propel her campaign. I thought she did a good job in the debates and wouldn’t mind seeing her there again but we have too many candidates and she had as much chance as De Blasio.
