Its going to be a weird year. In the last two years first the Senate Report and then the Mueller report decided that they could not find sufficient evidence behind the Russian/Trump conspiracy theory.
The Senate and half the country, including the DOJ, are now moving on to find out who started this conspiracy theory and what laws were broken.
The House and half the country are grabbing on to the evidence that Mueller decided was insufficient and saying, no, that was proof of the conspiracy.
We are headed in two opposite directions.

It wasn’t that hard for me. I quit for 13 years between 1991 and 2004 - then slowly started again during an overseas vacation. Thought I was older and could handle it. I was wrong. Finally quit for good (best guess) in 2016.

I admire the people who really have to work at quitting. It was always easy for me once my mind was made up.

Disclaimer though - I smoke weed - that helps a lot.

I honestly believe everything first started with “Judicial Review” and only kept going downhill even faster after the Civil War and the States lost their right to secede from the Central Government.

TDS is an acronym for Trump Derangement Syndrome , a term applied to people who express deep loathing and fear of President Donald Trump. It’s usually used by Trump supporters for liberals.

That’s not the same as “being told I am a deranged person because I don’t support the president.”

“Not supporting” is not “loathing and fear”.

Huge difference.

You tend toward the latter. Many here do. The term TDS is properly applied to such people.

How are they trying to prevent it? Give an example.

They will try to impeach Barr or subpoena him continually. Probably a contempt of congress charge is in the works. Basically filibuster him. I could be wrong though. It may go down totally differently. It’s just started. We’ll see how it plays out. But you and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they will not support his efforts. Time will tell. As I said, it should be fun.

What efforts of Barr are the Democrats restricting? Besides his effort to lie to Congress, that is…

Mueller spelled out how the investigation started in his report. Half the country won’t buy it.
The IG report should be out sometime this month or next month. Half the country won’t buy that.
Are their going to be new investigations after the IG report? Probably.
The investigations in SDNY will continue. The investigations Mueller laid out in his report will most likely move forward.

I think we can only get one investigation behind us. The Dems should probably agree to the “no conspiracy” charge, but the Reps should also address the conduct of the campaign even without criminal charges. We don’t want future campaigns seeking help from foreign governments… or do we?
