with whom?
the area is represented by 5 gop and 4 dems. is shiela jackson lee or al green more representative?
both, equally. gop representation in large blue states is virtually non existent, yet statewide they get 40% of the votes. do they hold 40% of the seats in CA? NY? NJ? MA?
what if you drew districts so they do… would that not also be “gerrymandered”?
of course it would

i think i already addressed the partisan leftist drivel of the masters and how i don’t give two ■■■■■ about it.
Always the same …
Iib: “hahahaha cons think that A will lead to B. Totally different… never happen…HAHAHA…”
10 years pass…
Con: “You said A would never open the door for B but here it is. And now you are saying that C won’t bring on D.”
Lib: “post the link where anyone ever said that A would not cause B”
Always the same. Always.

How convenient for you to dismiss evidence showing that your opinion is wrong without providing anything to refute it

So no you can’t show where anyone made that argument. I didn’t think so.
This might be some wild eyed crazy talk, but maybe the Republican Party could modify its platform to attract more voters? Just thinking out loud here.
It seems like conservatives (whatever that means) are more open to modifying their commitment to American democracy rather than their policies.

Right? In the history of America political parties have often gone through periods where they lose multiple elections. Usually you take a look internally to try to figure out if its your positions or messaging and make adjustments to try to start winning elections.
But todays Republican Party - It must be the illegals fault!

Current thinking disagrees. I have seen several predictions that the dems will lose The House in 2022 and The Senate in 2024. At the very least, Manchin is a goner

Biden has already set up 2022 very neatly.
I thank him for his willingness to age less than gracefully for us all in such a public arena.
But why would they. Trumpism works. Coupled with the EC advantage and gerrymandering, The Republicans are in a good place to Trumple down.

The GOP can simply draw themselves 9 seats without appealing to a new voter.

Not this redistricting cycle.

Because the GOP retained control of the majority of the State Houses.

So the GOP gets to redistrict for all of them?

For enough of them to matter.

Unless of course you create whole new pathways to citizenship…
And eliminate Voter ID requirements which leftists have been all about loosening relaxing and ending for several years now.
