You sir, don’t know your history.

Ditto. Oh and 3/5ths.

Go on.

Yes. It is horrible.

Go back.

Boooo!

Many of us are concerned with the amount of arrogance, combined with ignorance that abounds in the Republican/Conservative ethos.

Some of the founders were against slavery. Unfortunately they were the minority and we ended up with 200 years and counting of racial disparity

That was kind of my point. They have no excuse. It was obviously an idea that went around and yet…

Not true.

 A prog complaining about arrogance and ignorance?

They did have a reason.

Yeah, to be a bit anachronistic, its all about the benjamins.

I understand. It’s not easy.

I just wanted you to explain.

You just showed what the problem is. In a national election of 50 States, only a few thousand votes in a percentage of those States are the one’s that matter at the end of the day.

We have a system where it is becoming a less abnormal occurrence where voice of the majority is losing out to like 70,000 people in a few key States.

That is a super screwy way to run a government.

It was all about forming a country that could survive.

Again, you don’t know your history.

And what a great country they made to survive!

Reason #1 why none of them should be viewed as infallible? They were against owning human beings but too cowardly to stand up for that belief due to political convenience

I even have to sign a piece of paper and they look at it versus the one on file.
