Tuned in to Bret late and she looks awful answering about Iran. Went all the way back to suckers and losers trying to get around a question about why it doesn’t seem like she is treating Iran as our greatest threat which she said they were.
Maybe the rest was good for her.
He is not there to debate her. At most, he will ask follow-up questions when her answers are vague or not on point. (That was also the format in the 60 Minutes interview, although there were not a lot of tough questions there.) He asks the questions; we judge her answers.
IMO, Baier is one of the most professional journalists in television news.

Fox News host Bret Baier shared details about how Vice President Kamala Harris’ team was desperately trying to get the Fox News interview to wrap up after their testy sit-down in Pennsylvania.
The Democratic presidential nominee joined Baier for an interview aired on the Fox News Channel’s Special Report Wednesday evening. It was her first ever interview for the conservative network.
The pair spoke over each other numerous times as Baier grilled the 59-year-old vice president on multiple topics including immigration right out of the gate.
‘I’m talking like four people waving their hands like “it’s got to stop,”’ Baier described to his panel about how the interview ended after it wrapped up.
‘I had to dismount there at the end,’ Baier shrugged.
‘There are so many things and maybe she should do more of these,’ he added

I gained some respect for him. 
I think we can figure out why 92 percent of her staff have quit as well!

Well, he is one of the few actual journalists on FOX News .I think he was tough, asked good, and provocative questions, and she responded like a professional Politician.
The same Baier who on election night was one of the Fox News folks who scorned his staff for calling Arizona for Biden? He is a Fox News political hack. I do appreciate that he allows interviews with Democrats on his show. But he is still a right-wing political hack. IMHO.
