Nothing he was releasing POWs, ending a war. Which from day one is what I have said. No trials keep them until war is over then release them unless UN wants them for war crimes. I know technically not a war, but that is what I always believed.

So he freed 5,000 Taliban who are now attacking the government we spent thousands of lives and trillions of dollars to create.

So now you think we should keep them in prison for ever? Wow once again what a difference a new president makes on hypocrisy.

Maybe the Afghan government ought to have been involved in the talks that led to the US leaving…where the prisoner releases were discussed?

He should have had benchmarks for the Taliban to stand down.

As soon as they took a single city or Province the deal should have been over.

That was how Trump had crafted the drawdown and it was working.

And in April he was complaining that Biden was going to take too long and should have been finished in May like he planned to do had he still been President.

Pompeo kept them away because that was what the Taliban wanted.

We were never going to win this war without staying forever. This was always going to happen.

There’s nothing to figure out except we need to stop going to Middle Eastern countries and think we can change them.

All it does is cost us to spend blood and treasure, for the predictable result that any country we touch will devolve back into chaos once we finally leave.
