Garland has lied before Congress. He’s got some splainin’ to do once his subordinates rat him out.
What happened is what happened with Mike Pence’s documents. Both men recognized that they were holding things in error. returned them and that was the end of it. The current legal case re documents concerns someone refusing to return documents for six months.
Paper trail. Other than the WhatsApp document that was shown to be a fake. Tell us about it.

Biden accidentally stole classified documents he never had a right to as a Senator and accidentally hid them in his office, home and garage for over a decade? Sure.

We’re already forced to tolerate Democrats who are governing the country into the toilet. Democrats made fools of themselves in that hearing babbling about Trump and anything else in their TDS rattled brains rather than the evidence presented of the crimes of the Biden family which are in plain sight, in emails, tax returns, falsifying forms, audio and video.

A month ago we all heard there were seventeen videos which would prove Joe Biden took bribes. Only no one has seen those videos and they apparently don’t exist.
Emails from the “Hunter laptop” are a farce, as it is clear from the forensic evidence that his actual laptop is hacked and the laptop that has provided you with so much glee is a fake. But keep telling yourself this constitutes “evidence” if that makes you happy.

My comments on this are two suggestions:
The GOP House can do one of two things:
- Impeach Joe Biden
- Make a referral to the DOJ
If the supposed evidence they have is so ironclad, then 1) gives them a chance to open more of the evidence up to the American people and 2) it gives them a chance to TRULY expose the DOJ to charges of corruption.
But…
…if they keep on in Congress inviting people who said they heard other people say that such and such happened and were willing to write it down on a 1023…
…then this is just more theatre.
It really is that simple.

Not only do I know that, I know the difference between the powers the Constitution grants POTUS and the fantasies some Presidents have about what they can.
We got a good example yesterday, when the Republican all-investigations-all-the-time show gave RFK Jr. a forum to tell us that his years long campaign against vaccines does not mean he is opposed to vaccines and his rant about the engineering the Covid virus so that it would spare Ashkenazi Jews does not mean he is anti-Semitic.

Biden didn’t care about getting Pence. Pence is no threat to the Democrats or anybody else. And since Pence’s involvement with government documents is so much less than Biden, it would have been impossible to whitewash Biden if Pence had been prosecuted.

The weakness in that view is that prosecuting Trump because he is seen as an electoral threat is a losing strategy. Every indictment increases Trump’s fundraising, boosts his lead in the Republican primary polls and strengthens his defining “I am a victim” strategy. Why would Democrats pursue a strategy that helps Trump if they are afraid of him? And, for all the grousing about biased juries in New York or DC, why pursue a prosecution that will be judged by a jury in Florida?
IOW…“no”.

Most folks don’t see Trump as a victim. Very far from it. But, if it makes you feel warm and toasty on a cold day keep on believing it.
