Why would the GOP want to help the leftist with their new election plan for 2020.
What I said has nothing to do with the GOP election plans.
It has to do with the leftist using impeachment as an election tool.
But the leftist were already fine and dandy with spying on an opposing candidate and lying to the courts to get approval so why should it surprise anyone that they would use impeachment to gain power.

Right now the senate should investigate FISA, FBI, CIA and Obama abuse of power.

Biden later specially if he doesn’t get the nomination which is looking more likely that he won’t.

Problem is Republicans absolutely love FISA, just not when it’s being applied to former Trump campaign members. That’s why none of those jokers actually support any reform measures.

Impeachment is over. But I’m sure that Shifty and the gang are in denial. Planning to continue as if nothing happened. But their legal options have disappeared like the Dodo bird. It’s their final act of desperation.

What about the republicans? They do have options. The problem is they are terrible at playing offense. Usually preferring to play defense then collecting their chips and going home. Trying to be fair with people who are dedicated to destroying them. There are murmurings among republicans that they may be preparing to put their foot on the gas and subpoena Shifty, the whistle blower, the Biden’s and others. They should do it. And they should not fiddle fart around for weeks or months. They should get moving. NOW.

My question is this: Do you think that republicans actually have the stomach to go on offense? Or will they let this incredible opportunity slip away as they typically do?

They should not go on offense. It will perpetuate the cycle of ignorant, destructive partisanship that grips this country. Let it go, forcefully defend each time victimized until Americans wake up and get tired of it. We’re not really at war with each other but saying so surely stokes passions, raises money and solidifies votes.
