You can be racists all you want as long as you’re not impacting public policies, making public policy decisions that impact my civil liberties, and your racism does not impact me from making a living and providing for my family.

Racists are horrible people and I rather for them to be pariahs in our society. Unfortunately too many of them as subtle as they maybe are quietly making decisions to keep a certain demographic in power. Despite 45s racists rhetoric and some of his ignorant ass white supremacists followers we are still not dealing with national level Jim crow in your racism.

The sad part now, there are powers in place led by this President that have emboldened poor, ignorant and grossly undereducated white folks that they are still better than the best black, latino, and Asian in each respective community have to offer.

LBJ had a lot of issues in regards to race, especially being a southern democrat from Texas during the 40s, 50s and 60s. However one thing he understood when it comes race in this country was this, “If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
A very true statement that not only applied back then but under this current administration applies now.
