Easy solution.

I have no problem with that. As long as the airlines require masks. Not the government mandating it. Then people can choose who they’d like to fly with. If as a result no airline requires them, then people can either wear them anyway, or choose not to fly.

There are no guarantees but we are vaccinated more and more. Unvaccinated are either dying off or getting natural immunity. Seems the probability of a catastrophic death in the next wave is quite a bit lower.

So are the vaccinated, just at a lesser rate. The infection rate from Omicron for the vaccinated is about 1/3 of that for the vaccinated. The death rate is also less but CDC numbers only run through December so it’s not possible to say by how much at this time.

I only fly internationally. I have plenty of time to drive domestically. If they ever want my business back they need to do something about the torture seats in coach.

Not yet known. The data only goes through the end of December. The death statistics always lag the new case data.

That said, yes … It appears it will be a lot less … in the magnitude of 1/10 to 1/20.
