No loads demanding free . They should move out of mom’s basement and wake the ■■■■ up.
I am a maker, still working after 70, dear.
Bam…you’re on to something. Now…do a 180…look in the mirror…and repeat that.
Okay you are using Amazon
How would they be out of business without government subsidy?
I did nothing of the sort in this thread but thanks for playing.

Spin away.
Would the 40% of people who don’t pay taxes exist without the government?
Every person pays taxes.
Sales tax.
Get rid of regular tax and have everyone pay sales tax, with sales tax higher on luxury items like boats, etc.
Then use the money gleaned wisely.

You do realize that sales tax disproportionately affects middle and lower income citizens?
I like how universal healthcare is seen as “radical” as if no country has it
Then some people haven’t been listening…
I like how it’s the left that only likes “free” stuff. It’s not political. Humans generally like stuff that they didn’t work for. Why do you think the lottery is so popular?

And corporations and other investors like free stuff as well, or stuff they haven’t worked for.
Why do you think we have rentier capitalism in the first place?
Good thread. Welcome to the forums.
Snow96:Not worth my time.
And your the one making the claim – so you should be able to back it up.
Fairly common occurence; the (general) left drops unsupported opinions then refuses to back any of it up- sometimes while calling readers lazy for not ‘knowing’.
Yes, and no one on the right ever does that.
While the Republicans can do a good job to show just how far this country has come under Trump
I doubt it, seeing how the country has made less progress when it comes to:
- Higher annual GDP growth
- Jobs created
- Real median weekly earnings growth
- S&P 500 annual returns
- Deficit reduction
As a millennial who graduated from college in 2008 as a full-blown Paulbot, Cruz supporter in 2012, paid off my college loans, has almost made it to the top 10% of household incomes, I enthusiastically support:
- Medicare for All
- Publicly funded higher education and vocational training
- Federally funded parental leave
- Universal pre-school
- Federally funded childcare

Show us. How far has this country come under Trump?
Smyrna: JayJay:Is it an equally common occurrence for board moderators to attempt to bait?
This is a couple threads now.
Ahhhhhh…so asking you to finish what you started is now baiting? Wow…who knew?
I’m taking about insults.
This is several threads now where a board moderator has divined what a poster is thinking and made a rude comment about it.
I’ve never been accused of ‘diving what a poster is thinking’. Should I say thanks or get squishy and offended? I see how upsetting this was so I’ll just pass some tissues down in case anyone needs them

No it doesn’t.
