Reports of Iranian plots against Trump continue to circulate.
Now there are rumors of Iranian surface-to-air missiles entering the US from Mexico as part of a plot to assassinate Trump:
I suspect that recent rumors about Iranian plots on Trump may just be framing for a cover story.
There may well be plots to shoot down a plane, but the only thing Iranian about them may be the missiles. Trump has more than enough enemies inside the US and among US allies, many of whom also dearly want war with Iran.
Taking out Trump and pinning the blame on Iran could be a win-win.
We live in a world driven by media narratives and propaganda, so it should not be surprising if things are sounding a lot like a Hollywood faerie tale.
â. . . Iâve got my wife to murder and Gilder to frame for it . . .â
The State Department has offered a $20 million reward for arrests involving an alleged plot against John Bolton. Where is a similar reward for the plots against President Trump?
I am not familiar with the game, but the similarity would not surprise me.
There may well be a real plot that includes Iranians, but the Witmer kidnapping case and the shooting at the draw-Mohammed contest show that FBI informants can act more to instigate and plan then to interrupt a conspiracy.
The FBI may know about the plots because an informant was in the lead for planning and recruiting.
Oh yeah Modern Warfare II 2022. Plot starts with a US affiliated multinational special forces team putting a cruise missile into an Iranian General. Then his underling âstealsâ a bunch of US cruise missiles and comes up with a really stupid plan involving Mexican Narcos to transport them to US waters so that various US cities are in range. The US sends the multinational team as well as PMC after this guy and his cronies. The issue is that the US general in charge of the operation is a corrupt piece of garbage who was using the PMC company to transport them and they got robbed by the Iranians. Then he decides to cover his ass by bald face lying to congress and decides to betray the multinational spec ops team and wipe them out so they fail at their mission while he and the PMC quietly recover the missiles. Thereâs also some pissed off russians involved because Call of Duty canât stay away from that played out trope.
Itâs honestly a really stupid plot and doesnât come anywhere close to the glorious plot of Modern Warfare II 2009, which was a (we all believed at the time due to Russian hype of their capabilities) semi realistic look at how a conventional war between the US and Russia might go down if the Russians could actually invade the east coast. Yeah looking back it was dumb but it was exciting. The new plot is just dumb.
In what world would you need to shoot down trumps plane? If anyone with an IQ over room temp who wasnât mentally ill wanted to assassinate trump or anyone they would just use a drone. It would take a few hundred dollars and a week of work to make. Guides are everywhere on how to make one. Hell you dont even need to explosives they have fpv drones that fly over 200 mph now literally just need to fly it at someone and they would not survive.
Thats why i dont buy this iran plot, if they wanted to take out trump it would have been done. No one not mentally ill is going to try to assassinate someone with a bubbaed to hell sks with a scope duct taped to it.
There are a variety of available countermeasures against drones. Here is an example of what is public; presumably there are additional countermeasures that are classified.
Of course, if the countermeasures are mysteriously inoperative when dangerous drone activity is overhead, history shows that the response from the Secret Service will be âsorry, my badâ and move on. This is true even when there is evidence of a likely drone attack.
My guess is that any real attack would use drones from places like Iran, North Korea, China, Russia, etc. Plausible deniability is the key, and it is likely that Iran or other hostile foreign entity will get the blame regardless of the true origin of the attack.
Yes, weaponized incompetence has been the cover story.
The real question is how desperate the people who run things in DC are to remove the âthreat to national securityâ compared to maintaining the pretense of âfreedom and democracyâ. For example, there has been speculation that the Biden administration could simply order a direct attack to remove Trump.
Alternatively, they could allow a foreign ally to assassinate Trump, and then allow those involved in the attack to go free. If that scenario sounds far-fetched consider recent revelations about the apparent get-of-jail-free card for Saudis connected to the 9-11 hijackers. Here is one example:
. . .the lawsuit has exposed layers of contradictions and deceit in the Saudi governmentâs portrayal of Omar al-Bayoumi, a middle-aged Saudi graduate student in San Diego who was the central figure in the hijackersâ support network. Almost immediately after the 9/11 attacks, FBI agents identified Bayoumi as having helped the two young Saudis rent an apartment, set up a bank account and take care of other needs. Bayoumi, then 42, was arrested on Sept. 21, 2001, in Birmingham, England, where he had moved to continue graduate studies in business . . . After pressure from Saudi diplomats, Bayoumi was freed by the British authorities without being charged. U.S. officials did not try to have him extradited. The IRGC has over 40 years of experience in direct action operations globally. Do you really believe that with 40 years organizational experience that they donât have a number of elite operators in their organization?
