One thing Trump and other entertainment Republicans never got through their heads was the importance of the other nations in dealing with Iran.

Trump not only abandoned the deal but ticked off the Chinese by starting a trade war. And now they are saying screw US sanctions we will buy oil from Iran.

One thing you need to get through your head is that neither Iran nor China has the best interests of the United States at heart. I’m not surprised by this and neither should anyone else. The two bolded statements kind of strike me, well, frankly, as dumb.

No sovereign nation in the history of the world has the best interests of another sovereign nation at heart. Ever.

Whether the United States, Russia, China, Iran, Iraq, England, France, etc, etc, etc.

Each and every nation has ONLY its own selfish best interests at heart.

We didn’t fight World War II because we actually cared about Europe or anybody else. We fought ultimately to protect the United States.

The Marshal Plan wasn’t enacted because we gave a **** about the people of Europe. It was enacted as part of an effort to contain the Soviet Union, thus solely in the United States best interests.

Any foreign nation that did something because it was in the United States best interests and not their own would be a bunch of ******* retards.

Bottom line, nations do things for their own bests interests and no other reason.

Just because they do does not mean they should. There is also a difference between one nation injuring another in the pursuit of their own interests and going out of their way to injure another nation.
