Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders leads the pack of Democratic hopefuls vying to take on President Trump in 2020; taking the top spot in a series of polls on the day of the Iowa Caucus.
According to Real Clear Politics average of surveys from the state, Sanders is leading with 24% of the vote; followed by Joe Biden at 20%, Pete Buttigieg at 16%, and Elizabeth Warren at 15%.
“Bernie Sanders’ momentum is shaping the final hours of the race to win tonight’s Iowa caucuses, forcing his rivals to lower expectations and feeding the Democratic establishment’s fears about what a Sanders victory could do to the party,” reports Axios.
“We view Iowa as the beginning, not the end,” Biden adviser Symone Sanders said Sunday.

Project Veritas released another explosive undercover exposé of Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign last week; showing two more field organizers calling for “violence against property” and dismissing the horrors of the Soviet Union’s brutal gulag prison system.
“A Lot of Those People Who Do That Kind of Work, are…Their Politics Fall Well Outside of the American Sort of Norm. “A Lot of the Stories We’re Told in the United States About, You Know, the Gulags and the Persecution of the Kulaks and Things Like That are Exaggerated…We Certainly Don’t Have, uh, a Straight Perspective on That Stuff Here in America,” he added.
“In a new video released today by Project Veritas Action Fund (PVA), two South Carolina Field Organizers for the Sanders Campaign, Mason Baird and Daniel Taylor, are secretly recorded admitting that the Sanders campaign attracts ‘truly radical people.’ They are also recorded brushing off the human rights atrocities committed by the Soviet Union and planning violence as a back-up plan depending on the outcome of Sanders’ election effort,” writes Project Veritas.
