The media and the Democratic strategists are starting with the misogyny card. Funny thing is, if someone won’t vote for Harris because she is a woman, but would vote for a man who is a democrat then who are the misogynists?
“Fox Business senior correspondent Charles Gasparino remarked, “It’s so bizarre that those on the political left, who for years proselytized the hoi poi that men can be women and women can be men, that men can compete in women’s sports because we are all genderless creatures, now think they have credibility to say what a real man is all about. Sorry you blew it years ago.”
“I’m going to tell you the truth. I didn’t like [Trump]. But now, I like him,” Fabrienne Durocher, a voter who supported President Biden in the 2020 election, said. “I don’t like when Democrats are talking about abortion. I don’t want that. So I said, for that, I’m going to change my mind. I’m going to vote for Trump.”
The GenForward survey, which ran from Sept. 26 to Oct. 6 by the University of Chicago and included 2,359 eligible voters 18 to 40 years old, included some fascinating findings:
A quarter of young Black men are supporting Trump. (Black men overall backed President Joe Biden nearly nine to one in 2020.)
44 percent of young Latino men said they’d back Trump, an improvement over the roughly 38 percent who backed him in 2020.
For her part, Harris is at 58 percent with Black men, 37 percent with Latinos and 57 percent with Asian American and Pacific Islander men.
Kamala Harris is doing incredibly well among women of color. A majority of Black (63 percent), Asian American and Pacific Islander (60 percent) and Latina (55 percent) women say they will vote for Harris.
White women are nearly evenly split between Harris (44 percent) and Trump (40 percent).
“[We are] hard-working people, and we’re letting people into this country to not just take jobs away and move us into poverty by paying for these people who are not working, but we have an unsafe community. We’re not strong around the world, and we’re losing this country. There’s people who have come to this country, risked all for everything, and only to find that it’s becoming the land of exploitation,” he said.
