Why would I need to pace myself. It was a simple statement of fact.
As a crime, obstruction of justice is about interfering with the process of investigation. It has no prerequisite that the thing being investigated be determined to be a criminal act.
No pacing necessary.
Indeed, it’s the reverse. The President’s supporters will need to pace themselves. Throwing all that chaff has got to get wearisome.

No doubt. 67 senators is a very hard threshold to cross. And certainly at this point I don’t see conviction.
It will really come down to what Mueller puts forth, how it is worded and how strong his case is.
I think right now there are about 5-10 GOP senators that could be swayed. To get to nearly 20 GOP senators would require deeply serious charges with a mountain of evidence. It seems unlikely to me as well…but possible.
So many presidents screw up that part of their presidency.
