They are not just susceptible or stupid. They had street flooding without any rain….
They are not immiserating they are making the lives of Floridians better because Collins Avenue isn’t going to have constant water on it

Good Lord. When you build things below sea level, you don’t get to be surprised when they flood.
Entropy is an immutable truth.
But yeah, yeah, cars and cow farts and gas stoves in Nebraska are causing Collins Avenue in Miami to flood.
You’re being fleeced and rationalizing it.

I didn’t say anything about cars or cow farts or gas stoves in Nebraska.
It’s above sea level by about 6 feet. They had to raise parts of it higher
Infrastructure is being affected by something. Ignoring it and dismissing it because of stubborn “it’s all neo Marxism and immesierarion” is ridiculous.

Your clique does, daily. The guy you voted for is.
So they’re raising it. Problem solved. How does it affect me?
It’s being affected by entropy. I didn’t say anything about ignoring it. It has to be maintained. Because of entropy. Beachfront property has a cost.
Miami is in the US. Last i checked. It’s an issue.
They are raising brand new buildings.
And again i didn’t say anything Bout the rise of sea levels being man made.
Any bridges been built with the money? Cause I can name off about 15 bridges in both MS and LA that need to be replaced.

No, it’s not an issue for the US.
The sea isn’t rising.
Yeah 8 inch rise of sea levels around Florida since 1950 is a figment of everyone’s imagination.
But hey you said it’s not happening so it’s not an issue. All solved.
I haven’t seen any bridges being worked on around here either.
Probably all going into vote buying schemes and Ukraine.

It’s just common sense that we are contributing to climate change.
From a geological time perspective, we have been on this planet for the blink of an eye. Less even.
And the last 150 years is a fraction of that blink of an eye.
And in that tiny, tiny amount of time, we went from not releasing any carbon into the fragile atmosphere to having 1.5 billion ICE tooling around burning carbon, and have covered substantial amounts of the earth with carbon releasing facilities.
To think that we could go from zero to our current levels of carbon release in such an amazingly short period of time and not affect our atmosphere and climate just doesn’t make sense to me.
It doesn’t matter to me what’s causing at this point
There is a lot of lip service being paid to the environment but not much is being done
The Paris accords are voluntary
Big polluters like China aren’t slowing down
So the cause is no longer relevant.
The effect however is starting to be felt

If we can take steps to reduce or slow the change, we should.
And of course there is the reality of a catastrophic tipping point.

How do you know the ground isn’t sinking?

Of course it’s relevant. Man is not in control.

Any steps? Any steps at all?
Hogwash
Like in all of southern Florida?
Which is irrelevant to the actual effects
