Notable;

  • This is Linus Lundqvist’s 7th pole of the season.

  • Cars qualified in the reverse order of points, so just as with the IndyCars, the TOP guys in points benefitted from going out last, when the most rubber was on the track.

  • Benjamin Pedersen held pole once he qualified until the final qualifier, teammate Linus Lundqvist, came out and bested him. Lundqvist’s first lap almost saw him go into the wall but the frenetic pace also saw him turn in the best lap of the session, backed up by another good lap.
