After leading two practice session it was just assumed that Danial Frost for HMD Motorsports would lead the qually session, but such was not the case as teammate Linus Lundqvist takes the pole while Danial faded, a lot.

We’re still trying to figure out what happened to Danial, who was easily the fastest guy on track all weekend, up to now. The field was covered by only 1 second, all the way back to P13, and Danial was only 0.3 seconds off pace for pole, but look what that means in this highly-competitive environment.

This is Linus’ second Barber Motorsports Park pole and fourth Indy Lights pole.
