Preliminarily, it appears the other vehicle was at fault, drifting out of its lane across the centerline.
I will add that two people with Walorski were also killed, as was the at fault driver in the other car.
What a sad tragic accident.

Bumping as another thread was just posted on this subject.
Very sad news for all of the families involved.
I’m curious about how they replace her in the 2022 general election.
Indiana primaries are done. (She won her GOP primary, uncontested.) She had a Democrat contender for the general election.
We are all here for a very short period of time. Very sad news and my heart goes out to her family and friends. She will be missed.

Isn’t the precedent that the dead person stays on the ballot and is replaced if they win? Candidates that died before an election have gone on to win multiple times

Most likely, as in most States, the party will choose a replacement. If the general election ballots haven’t been printed yet, they would be changed to reflect the new candidate.
