In what ways do you believe this crisis will permanently alter businesses and education in America?

I’ve never heard of it happening but people that have a heart condition are told to be careful when taking sauna.

The feeling of going from a 180-200 degree F environment to a 32 degree F environment is amazing!

I would assume it’s possible, but I would think most of the old timers who have kept up with their sauna routines are probably tough as nails and will most likely die with their boots on, or will die in the bedroom.

My suitemate was born and raised in Houghton. He was super cool.

My problem was, it was sooooo much fun, that after 3 years, I was still a first semester sophomore. I don’t understand it. I got an A in advanced snow skiing? Can you imagine…a season’s pass at the local ski resort? The whole place and the entire atmosphere was a bad influence on me. It’s the coldest place I’ve ever lived and for the most part…I was never indoors. :sunglasses:

I loved growing up there, and if you like the outdoors it’s tough to beat being able to really enjoy every single season outdoors.

Really hard to make a good living up there, it’s why I had to move, may end up back there someday if the right opportunity is there.

I had a girl friend that lived about a mile away. One night, the weatherman said that including the windchill, it was 65 degrees below zero…DON’T GO OUTSIDE! As I walked it, all warmed up thinking about what was waiting for me, I thought, this isn’t bad. :sunglasses:

I carry my blind, 8 lb, 13-year old Italian Greyhound our for a limited walk. She used to run like the wind. Is that what you mean by carrying?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I understand that she’s blind but…why can’t you walk her/him on a leash?

She doesn’t need a leash anymore. She barely walks around the yard these days. She’s old. She used to run like the wind on the levee. Pic from in younger days.

You indicated you carry her and I’m asking why…if she’s blind?

edit; she’s gorgeous

I pick her up and carry her outside. She wanders around, sometimes does her business. I watch her so she doesn’t wander into the street. After a while I pick her up and bring her back inside.

She looks like a little reindeer. My wife and I love her to death.
