Just saw where Ocasio-Cortez says she will not attend the SOTU speech because she doesn’t want to “normalize” Trump. What’s scary is that there is a looking glass segment of society where that isn’t a bizarre statement.

The result is what I hoped for.

Many republican senators admitting what Trump did was wrong and essentially admitting he’s been lying.

And…all of the Senate GOP has to go on record voting for acquittal.

And the public gets to see the evidence of Trump’s gross misuse of power.

I’ll take it.

I hope they get some acquittal pens made up in time.

Collins says she will vote against conviction. Hardly a cliff hanger, since it would take 2/3 of the vote to convict.
