I note that you didn’t speak to the incorrect assertion that there were no Republican witnesses in the House of Reps impeachment inquiry/hearing of Donald Trump.

It is a nonsense to have a trial without witnesses. Republicans know that and their attempts to reconcile the irreconcilable will only highlight how ridiculous that decision is.

List the republican witnesses in the impeachment.

And…all of the Senate GOP has to go on record voting for acquittal.

As I recall the rule in the House was that if someone was on the Republican list, they also had to be on the Democrat list if the person was to be called as a witness.
So yes, Republicans could have a witness as long as the Democrats wanted the same witness.
