You know what scary…those the know me here long time…I basically predicted everything in that movie decade earlier and warned about that very danger.
Yeah…Trump needs to Pardon Snowden.

No doubt Putin is a gangster, he’s ex-kgb can’t be full of good morals. I still don’t think they are even close to the level present day China brings. Having quiet a bit of our manufacturing alone is not only a devastating loss but a huge disadvantage if war ever broke out.
I still consider Russia to be the bigger threat. They mostly match our nuclear capabilities.
China’s nuclear Arsenal is tiny compared to ours, so I doubt they would be willing to use it in a full scale war since our retaliation would dwarf there’s hundreds of times over. It would be a bloody, long and drawn conventional conflict that would drag out for years.
A war with the Russians would devolve into a civilization ending nuclear war real fast. The Russians have a relatively poor conventional military compared to the Chinese. They would get desperate much more quickly.

China is moving fast in their nuclear programs.
We don’t have a good idea where they’re at since now agreement has been made to keep them in framework agreed upon.

Outside of the number of nukes they are not the biggest threat even militarily the a Chinese dwarf the Russians in military spending. No one in Western Europe cares about Russia as can be seen by their trade deals with Russia as well as lack of military spending. The problem Russia has is their economy is almost 50% energy dependent, whereas China owns everyone’s ass by housing the west’s companies in their country, then reverse engineers their products stealing the tech and selling them at a cheaper value. They are making a run on being the sole superpower as well as hoarding the market being the number one seller of semi conductors. Made in China 2025 lays it out.
I’m married to a woman originally from the Ukraine and neither she nor her family have any goods made from Russia, it’s hard to find anything made in Russia other than oil, vodka, or that stupid Matryoshka doll.
Whereas it’s hard not to find anything in the United States, or all of the west that doesn’t say made in China on it, we made an aggressive communist government and economic powerhouse with no end in sight.
Then when you get to economy it’s not even close Russia’s economy is the size of Italy. China’s is the size of the U.S. And they have enough enough nukes to blow us up as well.
