I was born in 1989, shortly before the Berlin Wall fell. But I know enough history to recognize that the state is a necessary evil. Not a blessing.
After all, my ancestors were enslaved and oppressed with the explicit permission and approval of both the state and federal governments.
Why would I trust them beyond what they were given as delegated powers?
The Democrats solutions always utilize the expansion of state power.
The Ministry of Truth being the latest blatant attempt. To decide what truth actually is by an organism whose only objective is self preservation. The arrogance of those people.
To be fair, the Republicans are being trash like always as well. The heavy handed restricted voting policies that they pursue being the most egregious example. To restrict the right of the people to choose their own governmental operators. It sickens me.

There was a time, that people criticized our system of government, with it’s many flaws, but also stated it is the best system in the world.
That was pretty accurate…up until the 1980’s, when Regan, adopted the neoliberal economic philosophy, which dramatically changed our country., There was a Reagan revolution, and we are now really feeling the effects…especially when every POTUS after him, pretty much continued that flawed philosophy.
We would be doing much better if we the people:
Raised taxes on the wealthy and corporations.
Bring back sensible regulations that protect the economic markets, and the environment
Break up the monopolies
Promote and support Labor unions, which could help the lower/middle class.
Make higher education, trade schools, and medical care, more affordable and accessible to all.
This would not solve al of our ills, but it would make a positive difference overall.

Ah yes the rich not paying their fair share, except for the pesky fact that they pay a larger share in taxes then they make in income. Top one percent makes 21% of the income but pay 40% of taxes. Sure looks like more than their fair share to me.

What percent of the wealth do those top 1% own?
Their effective rate whatever it may be has them paying more of a share in taxes then they make in income.

Don’t confuse high earners with the really wealthy, the very wealthy don’t generally pay income taxes, because they don’t derive their income from paychecks.

Yes …It was stolen. There is no way biden got more votes than Obama.
It was stolen by the states that counted every absenty ballot no matter where it came from or how it was filled out with absolutely no checks along with mailing absenty ballots out whether people requested them or not.
