Afraid to look? Or are you just pretending it did not happen?

Afraid to prove it? Or just gonna pretend it happened?

Looks to me that you can’t stand the truth about your party and would rather pretend they did not say what they did. But you need to wait a few more years and scrub the internet because it is there for all to see if they want to know the truth.

My party? Awesome. Why are you being so coy?

There you go. If it isn’t linked it never happened and doesn’t exist, right?

Because your goals are antithetical to theirs. They are incompatible because they are based on two different worldviews.

One of collective responsibility versus individual responsibility.

Those two things are inherently incompatible, even when people from both persuasions find good ideas in each worldview.

In the end, one will always push too far and invite a hostile response from the opposing force if it cuts to the core of their worldview and ideology.

No more globalist totalitarianism.

What do you think are my goals?

No, I am pretty sure I have been consistent on where I stand on political issues and my political ideology. I am Conservative, save for mental health and pro-vaxx.

At least I can tear myself away from a political forum for a few days because I have a life to live.

He really isn’t. I wonder what happened to him?

From what I have read from your posts over the years, it seems like your goal is to create what you view as a more fair society based on collective rights rather than individual rights. To attempt to right what you see as the wrongs of the previous American century by using ideas such as mass social democracy (similar to the Nordic nations), collectively created equity (in regards to America’s various minority ethnic and sexual identity groups), and light socialism (such as universal healthcare) to create a more fair economy.

I don’t think your viewpoint is bad at all. I find all political and ideological viewpoints fascinating; it’s the entire reason I joined the board so long ago. To see how different people from all over the country think and feel about matters.

But I do think some of your goals are overly idealistic and are not necessarily compatible with the unique realities of the American experience. And it would necessitate the destruction of some American ideals, namely the final destruction of the power of the states in relation to the federal government. Should many of those reforms come to pass, the states’ remaining authority would be thrown into the trash heap of history. Which I firmly believe would cause generational lasting resentment across the country and lead to further factionalism in the future.

Some of these objectives run counter to many of my own beliefs, as I strongly support the right of self rule by different cultural groups on the North American continent. I accept that different cultural groups have differing ideas for what they feel as a just society and I do not judge them for it even if those ideas run counter to my own ideology. Basically I feel strongly about self rule and the localization of political control as much as possible. I dislike federal solutions to problems (although some are certainly necessary at times) because they tend to be overly sweeping instead of being narrow and focused. Some win and some lose with federal decisions and it tends to create more hostility between cultural factions.

But like I said earlier, I do not think your viewpoint is bad or evil or anything like that. I think it’s a result of us having drastically different views about humanity in general.
