I used guns as one example. It was just the primary justification for the program.

The major statistic is overall crime rates in the city, which have been in decline for years and where the rate of decline was not affected by the start or end stop-and-frisk.

No need to dredge up nasty adjectives, just explain how the impact of Stop and Frisk can be demonstrated.

It didn’t work.

What it did achieve was get a whole bunch of black kids in trouble because they had a little pot on them… so much so that the move to decriminalize simple possession became a thing.
