The real mandate is having the votes in congress and the presidency. If the President gets 60% of the vote but his party doesnât control the Senate, his mandate is illusory. The other party will find some excuse to do,what they want to do to defeat the President.

Itâs the reason statistics are one of the three greatest lies. They can be misleading. Your ant hills on the east coast and left coast (NYC, Cali.) will always keep the count close. When in reality itâs a blowout throughout the rest of the country.
Itâs like the Super Bowl we just watched. The Chiefs tacked on some meaningless points at the end to make the score closer than the game actually was.
