If government/government programs is "the answer" then why doesn't every or most governments around the world simply make life better for their people?

Clearly America is not perfect by any means, and although I’ve been to different countries throughout my life, I have not lived in another country for a significant amount of time to provide an objective opinion of them. Nonetheless there’s plenty of countries that are much worse off. Furthermore, how many liberals who have a much more negative view of America have left America or even want to leave. So for those who view government/government programs as “the answer” why doesn’t every government around the world simply make life wonderful for all their people?

Why should I want to leave?

Can you be more specific? What government programs are you referring to?

Systemic racism.

That’s a question to the liberals here.

I should flee structural inequities? Who would that serve?

Why not the option of staying and addressing the problem?

Boat rocker !!!

That’s your prerogative and that’s not what the thread is about.

They do.

So life is better in all other countries?

.
Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, etc all pretty good places to live.

They don’t represent ALL countries. There are also many people who view America as a good place to live as well.

You don’t think people in ALL countries thrive to make their nations better.

Government programs like property and contracts.
