The fact of the matter is, we are human and mistakes can and will happen. It is how one responds that determines culpability. Own up to it and make amends, right the wrong and that shows character. Double down, deflect and disparage? Lack of character.

I think the burden is on Jay to define what percentage passes his threshold for the meaning of “exception.”
