Yours to answering my question.
The question is not germane to the topic and therefore does not need to be answered.

Actually it is. Goes to credibility of the critic. Establish your bona fides.
Were Trump’s bone spurs on his left or right foot?
With this particular discussion it is very relevant. But there are a great many other discussions I’ve been a party to where TDS never came up.
You need to do better than that. Exactly what bona fides are you trying to establish with respect to the Vietnam War which is what this topic is about?

What’s the oranges of this question? Did some anomomos, anomonus, anomous internet poster discover it?

Your article about Clinton concludes that while the steps he took to dodge the draft may have been unethical none of them were illegal or “felonious”.

Yeah. Do you even read your links?
The Military is better off without anyone who doesn’t want to join. That’s why we’re an all-volunteer force these days.

The answer to a question in a headline is presumptively “yes” when there’s explicit bias to support.
They’ll expect you not to read what they post—same as them when they posted it.
Thank you for writing this, it was well struck. And thanks for your service.
I also did a hitch and fortunately never saw combat, but I would have gone if called.
I was the company Medic for the Patriot Missile company that eventually went to Desert Storm. We were stationed in Giessen, Germany and most of us never saw them fired, all of the testing was done in Texas. Was proud of them when they wound up doing a nice job knocking down Scuds.
I never blame anyone for wanting out of Vietnam, my Dad was exempt because my Mom was pregnant, I think. She wound up losing that kid soon after he was born and she named me after him.
What I do have a problem with is defaming gold star families, criticizing POWs, getting a purple heart from someone who earned it and saying “I have always wanted one of these”. He went almost 2 years before visiting his own troops saying he was too busy, yet still finding plenty of time to go to Mar A Lago 100 times. He didn’t attend a service at Arlington on Memorial day because it was raining, the first time a President missed this in half a century.
And his “Personal Vietnam”? That’s just despicable. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the sacrifices so many have made.
So, I don’t care if he wasn’t a fan, many were not. I don’t care his rich daddy got him out of it, he wasn’t alone in that regard. It’s his conduct here and now that matters.

Did they jingle jangle jingle as he rode merrily along?
You wouldn’t have fought either way.

Let’s not forget Trump skipped a memorial service (November, 2018) to honour American soldiers at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial in France because it was raining.
To put it all in perspective, Ijust had a quick search for the youngest ANZAC to die in WWI. He was 14 years and 3 months. I am sure others who fought for their respective countries were of similar age as well.
First, your post is against the TOS. Second, you are completely ignorant on the subject of me.

And secondly, my posts are a mirror-reflecting of what’s in front of me. Introspection is your friend. Go on making fun of people who never served though, it’s not like you ever fought in the Infantry, right?
You’re confused again. I never made fun of them.
As I understand it, if you were drafted, there was a box that you could check that said "Not a fan," and they’d let you go home.
