I Want my ______ EBT, Yo

What happened to “commodities” like cheese, dried milk, etc? That probably needs to start up again in place of EBT. Of course, I’m sure Big Food/Groceries would throw millions at congress critters to keep that from happening.

My favorite part about no longer being an NCO is no longer sacrificially eating the cheese and veggie omelet.

With iron stomach comes great responsibility.

Impressive! Credit: she scrolled long enough to place a single white person at the very end!

What do you think the reason for that is?

Of course, you are just pointing out the ones that Piper would NOT be fed up with. (Or me.)

And even among those who do not have employment income, there are legitimate circumstances where welfare is warranted.

Actually I expected to see the number of households that have at least one working member to be higher (and still have legitimate circumstances warranting food stamps) given the current 130% of poverty line SNAP guideline.

Certainly we all can agree that some income income-earning situations still warrant food stamps. (Or at least I hope we all can.) On the flip side we should also all agree that there ARE food stamp recipients who really shouldn’t merit it – able-bodied adults who could work (or at least be looking for work) but don’t/wont.

That never went away. It’s the TEFAP program under the USDA. It provides the staples at local food pantries. In case you were under the impression that food pantries provide steaks, caviar, and champagne:

Strengthening the Nation’s Nutrition Safety Net and Supporting American Agriculture
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of people with low income by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. USDA provides 100% American-grown USDA Foods and administrative funds to states to operate TEFAP.

That’s the ones they caught, of course.

Does that mean instead of saying racial, we say special?

I suspect that number is higher, not sure how much time is spent on enforcement.

How long did it take you to find the on POS on TikTok and then Broadbrush him as all democrats?

Is there an acceptable number? Fraud happens at pretty much the same rate in the private sector.

The only “acceptable” number is 0%, yea I know, unrealistic BUT acceptance of any other number is dereliction of duty. One should ALWAYS strive to get to 0%.

Also: what are they classifying as fraud?

Is buying $500 worth of ribeyes and selling them on Facebook fraud?

What about cases of soda, dumping them out and crushing them in the parking lot so you can return the cans for .05c apiece…. Is that fraud?

Or what about the folks who make sure they don’t work too much just so they can keep the benefits? Is that counted in the 1%?

And last but not least, what about the folks who hide their relationship and stay “single” in the eyes of the government so they can keep their benefits? Is that counted?

I’d hazard none of those things are actually measured except in the most blatant cases, they are all fraud, everyone knows it.

It would be good if the government could just stop it all, …let people sign up again, showing an ID and doing a background check.

A briliant idea.
But that will never happen.

Democrats WANT a subculture of people who will tag at taxpayer’s aprons. Those ‘dependants’ are not happy ONLY to be fed.
They want to be able to make demands, to harras the one who feeds them, to complain and throw their ‘dignity’ in our faces.

If MREs are good enough for our troops they should be good for the losers who demand EBTs, (something they can sell in the grocery store parking lot and by liquor, cigs and drugs).

Another example is the HUD and Section 8.

WHY those people rent HAUSES???
Taxpayers who PAY for those losers live in APPARTMENTS with their children.
Why can’t they live in appartments !!!

You have an interesting take on how hungry people and families spend their EBT benefits. Reminds me of Regan’s welfare queen story.

We got food stamps when my dad got laid off. I also got free lunch at school…this was in the mid 70’s,

I know of one couple who are not married so they don’t lose benefits. Although to be honest I don’t know why she stays with the ■■■■■■■■ He is a real piece of work…it is my sister in law.

Every example you listed should be considered as fraud. My suspicion is enforcement is light on purpose so they can claim low fraud.

Are you denying that doesn’t happen??
