The police department section of that article will likely become a lot longer in the coming year as well.
Public opinion on no-knock-warrants has completely reversed. Jurisdictions all over the country are moving legislation to put a leash on that nonsense. Without the sustained outrage, Breonna Taylor could have been forgotten just many before her.

So some statues were removed that unless were haunted couldn’t physically harm anyone and in it’s place we got a surge of violence and gun homicides. Nice progress, especially when you actually have city officials so far off the fringe they think no cops is a viable solution only for us to see the results of such and action with Chaz, only to implode with 5 African Americans shot, 2 of which died. It turned into gangland in a city with nowhere near the shootings compared to the more violent cities if such a foolish notion was put to test.
Not to mention what is it 40 deaths and 100’s of stabbings since the protests started, and unless people think BLM is covered by a holy woke shield and immune they are spreading coronavirus as well.

Black Lives Matter is funded by White Leftists. It has NOTHING to do with the Black Community. It is there to scare White People into accepting an authoritarian government.
Follow the money. See who donates the most to BLM. How is it so many legitimate Black Organizations were destroyed by the governmrnt, but BLM is able to exist with no hinderance? Nobody finds that odd?
It is NOT a Black Organization. Many Black People are aware of that too.

Welcome back. There have been some changes. Most of them are posted in the rules thread in Community Feedback.
Some statutes removed? Policing is being reshaped before your very eyes. Having no cops will never happen either, and very few people of consequence are advocating for that if any.
I do not deny the horrible cost of all this, but nor do I deny the fact that the powers that be have steadfastly refused to make these critical changes in the face of overwhelming evidence that they are badly needed.

BLM is a dualistic concept with an outer core of black people matter and an inner core of a marxist or black national socialist ideology organized along urban street gang lines. BLM verbalized becomes a salute of submission to the cabal like heil hitler, comrade, or waving a little red book.

There not going to change of substance they are already tried in NYC and people don’t like the surge of violence and pushing back. Instead of asking the police to be defunded they should be more funded and trained better and the repeat offenders gone. We all seen the police abuse videos those psychos need to be gone as soon as they come back too the precinct few are arguing they shouldn’t be.
As usual there is an over reaction looting, rioting, and violence and they will lose support over this if not now later people want to feel safe it’s the no.1 job of government to keep its citizens safe.
The police who killed Floyd should be put behind bars forever there is no room for that in this country. We also shouldn’t act like this is like the Rodney King incident were the police were let free who beat the hell out of him, and then the riots started the police who killed Floyd will be behind bars a long long long time.
Anytime a politician says we will study the situation one can mark that off as nothing meaningful is going to happen, they all do it just like Obama and trump. If you need an example look at the Simpson-Bowles bipartisan committee formed under Obama to find ways to reduce the national debt.
They came back six months later and said we are pretty much screwed unless we massively increase taxes while simultaneously massively reduce spending that was over $10 trillion ago. Those two nice gentlemen were swept under the rug never to be heard from again.
