Dems want to name who the Senate should or should not call for witnesses because they say they need to be heard. Well, dems had that chance in the House. Too bad. If the Senate Reps are going to have a fight in order to get the witnesses called THEY want, then I believe they are basically saying ‘Fine, we won’t call any at all and call it a day’. That ends the whining by the House Managers who are trying to shame the Senate into doing things their way in a chamber in which they do not have that control.

I am referring to the arguments and shaming the House Managers are trying to pull and I’m pretty sure the behind the scenes, and sometimes not behind the scenes, comments Pelosi has made while holding the Articles as if she had the ability to hold the Senate hostage until she got certain assurances about how the Senate was going to proceed.

Schiff and Pelosi had no control over who the Senate called to testify. That was entirely on McConnell and he decided on no witnesses which includes the whistleblower

Schifty and Pelosi knew that.

In Clinton’s impeachment trial the Senate used the same witnesses and testimony the House had questioned. They didn’t call any new witnesses.

The White House lawyers have to keep educating the House managers… like people in flyover country have to keep on educating the “elites.”
