Will have to agree to disagree on that one. I grew up listening to a lot of Tool and Grunge bands and once you listen to Danny Carey of Tool for a few years it’s just hard to appreciate other drummers. Way different style but still the stuff he does is just insane on the drums.

I do love the Beatles though :slight_smile: I was referencing a Family Guy episode were Ringo wrights a song, and when he takes it to the rest of the band they congratulate him in a dismissing way saying will just pin that right up on the refrigerator, while patting him on the back.

So from what I’ve read of the thread so far, Joe is proposing using DPA to increase production of the vaccine. Something Trump has tapped to prevent limitations on supplies for the manufacturers of vaccines. From the looks of it, it won’t actually increase production for some time after most everyone in the country has been vaccinated. So what’s the purpose? The appearance of doing something? The only other reason may be to supply other countries…altruism?

Obummer 2.0 and his girlfriend Kamala wouldn’t know the first thing to do with the defense of the nation, and other things. They would probably take credit for the financial success that came as a secondary effect from Trump’s defense decisions. They’ll probably take credit for ISIS not being active.

Ok, Then tell me which Beatles song would be better if it were written by a different drummer? Would Come together been better if Neal Pert played it. I cannot imagine that song with a different drum line. Can you ?

Even if they were to do this…by the time any of this accelerated production can actually get online and up to speed, we will be awash in so much vaccine, we will all be choking on it.

I mean, come on. Astra Zenica will have vaccine approved soon. Ditto for Norovax as well as J&J. And there are many more in development and early trials as we speak.

Why would you even do this, unless you want to just look like you’re doing something?

Sorry that I misunderstood you, but “Then tell me which Beatles song would be better if it were written by a different drummer?” is about the song, not just the drum notes.

Fair enough. I agree. I was not clear enough.

I like this one too. For almost every other drummer the beat would have been 4 hits on the high hat one on the snare. Like most songs do. Ringo does this creative little thing with the Tom and snare. Very uncomplicated. But very cool. Would another beat been better? I can’t imagine.
