I’m sorry you found my post worth of your scorn and ridicule. I clearly misjudged your comments. I am also sad that you look to the GOP as a party of principles rather than a populist party of personality. Thank you for correcting me.
wasn’t ridiculing you. i was being derisive of the party i left when they “compromised” their principles to the extent they nominated the likes of mclame and romney, your eluding to cultism only displays that the cult of trump hate has co-opted you. I disagree with some of what Trumps done, and I don’t care for the tweeting. by and large, I do agree with most of what he’s done. has nothing to do with personality.

Perhaps I misunderstood the meaning of lol. You were laughing with me?
I left the GOP when they compromised their principles and nominated a truly bad person. While I have liked some of the things President Trump has accomplished, I find him embarrassing as a human.
Thanx for your response.
bad person? I don’t make those kind of judgements,
How could a man of principles pass judgement?
i judge myself. for the most part, not others, I’m not in their shoes, and know nothing of the reasons people may feel they have to do what they think they must. actions i can judge, behaviors. i try not to judge people
Do you also wish Ghislaine Maxwell well? I don’t.
her actions were atrocious and any crimes she may have committed have a price. I don’t know her, I don’t know her life, I don’t know what drove her, She appears to have done bad things. is she a bad person? not my call
It never is for men of principle.
it is between her and whichever gods await her.

Do you believe there is a way to do both? Celebrate color, ethnicity and cultural heritage and unify the country? Or are they mutually exclusive?
Fair enough, and again I appreciate your response.
don’t know. what I do know is “celebrating” our differences ain’t working. Food fairs are nice. Getting a taste of different cultures, the garb, the dancing, the music. Generally promoted from within the community and supported by the community. It brings people together at the same time it shows we’re all not that different, Thats a celebration, Forced indoctrination and government programs are not.

I think the word for that is racist in today’s lingo. The word gets tossed out so much these days, which isn’t a good thing.
I saw were one of the Views hosts called Joe Rogan Homophobic, racist, and sexist because he had mentioned on his show he would moderate a debate between Trump and Biden. I watch Rogan from time to time and while I don’t like labels I can see were they could dig up sexist, but racist and homophobic? Not at all, yet there it is thrown out at another person as easy as saying “Hi” on live TV.
They are afraid to ingest MDMA.

I understand your point. We’re young. My wife tells me in her apartment building growing up, in India, there were 20 different varieties of religions, ethnicities, cultures and languages. No problems except when politicians used difference as a wedge. Alienation and division work.

The word is “racist” or they use a racist word for that?

That’s where i’ve always been. I’m too old and stubborn to change now no matter how many demands are made.
